Started in 1994, this fortnightly publication pulls together 4 or 5 items from the maritime press, BIMCO, trade associations etc. Issues covered usually relate to matters such as changes in regulations affecting shipowners (whether national or local), loss prevention, new publications, technological developments etc.

As it is not always possible to verify the accuracy of such information, it is reported here in good faith. The Association can accept no responsibility for loss or damage which may arise from reliance on information contained in the site.

As you will see, BNS aims to be brief but helpful, usually alerting readers to an issue rather than seeking to provide all the answers.
